Description
In a foreign country in former times, many centuries ago a farmer owned a wide field of sunflowers, taller and more beautiful than elsewhere in the world. But one of the sunflowers was taller and more beautiful than the others and people who saw her, called her Sonka,..Sonka Sunshine, because she reflected the light of her mother in the sky more brightly than all her sisters..But her sisters grew jealous and angry and begrudged her and finally they robbed her water and Sonka was in danger to die of thurst... The next morning the ground where Sonka formerly was standing so proud and wonderful was empty and her sister began to regret what they had done and they hung their heads..but the ground where Sonka has standing was empty and bare and people began to whisper secretly but an old midwife, living in the old forest nearby claimed that Sonka had been fetched and saved by her mother in the sky..
It is said that every year the evening before the sunflower field is cut there is a singing in the air and some people swear that amidst the field they saw a wonderful young lady dancing in the field and she was flinging around her golden hair and all her sisters where humming to the wonderful song of Sonka and weighing their golden and brown heads...

Vivid imagery, the fairy tale as well as the lovely repetition of color. A swirling sea of little stars anchored to a central pole of strength. A story so iunusually and finely depicted.

This is SO unusual Almo! A perfect illustration to the fairytale story! And most cleverly you have made Sonka look like a dancer AND like a flower! If a sunflower could dance,I'm sure it would appear like this! And then there is the vibrant sea of sunlit flowers in which she moves so delightfully. I can't wait now for what is going to appear next in your gallery!! v/f
