Description
Watercolour, wax and ink on Fabriano 640g, 50 x 70 cm.
This is one of these painting, I was hopelessly desperate whether I would be able to transform, what I was looking for. I very nearly distroyed it.
When it was finished, I found it O.K.

Thank you so much Ana for your wonderful compliment and your kind vote!! Well.. the wax crayon acts only partly as a mask,..the more water you use, and the more you work with your brush, the more the wax dissolves..!

Wonderful work Alfred! I am glad you did not destroy it, even if it turned out different than your vision, it is a beautiful work and a learning process as well. I love the detailed grasses in the forground and the lovely warm colors reflected in the water.. Looks to me like the man pondering something. v/f
