Ha, I know Nuernberg because I lived there when my father was the Fremdenverker Director of Nuernberg many decades ago... :-)

Thanks for your visit and your kind compliments, Hartmut! It seems to me that you are not only at home in intergalactic spheres but also in culture and history of the town, I am working in. Best wishes and greetings from the old continent!

Beautiful, delicate watercolor work, ... and all those fine details. I can even spot the big ring that a goldsmith secretly put over night into the iron work of the Gothic fountain, which I believe, to this day, no one knows how he did it. :-)

Thanks again, Jane! Another example of "incorrect watercolour" as described in "Nürnberg - southern riverside of Pegnitz and Charles bridge". This time much of the soluble black ink diffused into the colour and made the painting look like a postcard from olden times...

Almo, I shouldn.t keep choosing your brightly coloured works, because your more subdued ones are great too. I love this. It is stately and sombre with the tall buildings and stone work..But also busy and interesting. Love that three tiered lamp and all the detail of the market and the impression of all those people scurrying around..and the bike leaning on the lamp post ! (I know I commented on this on another site, but I wanted to comment on here too) Love this work! v/f
