Description
Murksi is our neighbours tomcat. He is a very wild and a very voracious cat. No mouse and no bird may be certain not to be killed and eaten by him. And Murksi has another flaw,..he comes for a visit every day, ..he would like to be adopted by us,..or at least be feeded by us,..AND kill the birdies in our garden..!!! Thats the problem,..for my wife M. likes the birdies in our garden very much,.. she feeds them even in summertime..Do you check the problem...???
And when M. is angry and threatens to chase him out of the garden he flatters the stony angel in our garden..!! Just like in this painting..!!! Can you be cross with such a creature,..concerning me,..I cannot,...definitively not..!!! I am convinced that real angels would behave in this case similarly to the stony angel in our garden...and there is another argument,..immediately on a level with his heart,..there is a white spot,..thats the mark where the true colour of his soul is shining through....

A wonderful painting and story, Alfred. Murksi must be a little of both, Angel and Demon. That makes him even more endearing. V/F

Your art is wonderfully emotional, but the words that you write are equally compelling if not entertaining. Lovely work!

Beautiful work and I love and appreciate your descriptive story so much....I take care of an 18 month old...who can also be an angel and a demon in the same minute! Maybe we are all like that!?...fav/v68

My first view, Alfred, I was thinking to ask to which does the title refer? The stone or the cat? Scrolling through the many comments before mine, I see that such a supposed-mistake would not be considered even funny! But you have certainly done an exceptional success at recreating the energy of a fawning cat, offering its all: "my head, my heart!" Fine job. Peace, etc., Bruce

I love this! I have one wild one that likes to go outside and looks like this cat you painted! He is an angel but also a wild carnivore as God intended! Strangely i also have this very angel statue in my garden and two of my cats who went to heaven a long time ago are buried there. Love this, it speaks to me personally! L F

L Love the story in this colorful painting. I like the pastel colors and the pleasing composition. Don't his "parents" feed him enough? Thank fully not all cats are like Murksi.

Beasutiful work! Murksi is a sweetie-pie -- he's just being his little kitty self... hopefully he gets special blessings from the angel for getting into trouble :) fv
