Oh my Alfred, one could interpret this beautiful watercolor as being a chilly night. I dearly love those gorgeous colors...another gold medal for you my friend...l.v.f...awesome work

Yes Almo! So, what I draw from that is that this painting is so perfect in composition and tonal value, that you can make it any colour you like and it will look great. And it does ! I sometimes used to scan my paintings in black and white to more easily see if the values were OK. because I get so carried away in a whirl of colour!!

Thank you Jane, Iīm so happy, you like them...really donīt want to be overly didactic, but the lesson I draw from all this, and I knew it from many books, is that colour means almost nothing, but composition and tonal value everything...

This is an amazing image, expressing the night in a unique and creative way! I voted for you!

Returning again to this version, love it like this SO much too ! I knew I had seen it before but thought that was on Flickr! It shows how different it looks each time!

I knew you would discover my new creations, to be honest, Jane, wanted that you discovered them by chance, so the surprise is much greater. Of course am I happy, that you like them and of course would I replace scalpel by brush only too willingly. Anyway, thank you so much, Jane!
