As far as I can remember details of my early childhood I always recall my Mom singing with me. The song that always touched my heart most was the song of the young princess Lilofay who was married to a wild aquarius:
Once upon a time a wild aquarius
on a castle over the sea
was marrying old kings daughter there
young and beautiful Lilofay
From above she heard the churchs bell ring
from the Castle over the sea
she was longing to see Mom and Father again
young and beautiful Lilofay.
And when she was standing infront of the gate
on the castle over the sea
grass and leave were bowing to great her there
young and beautiful Lilofay
And when she was stepping out of the church
on the castle over the sea
there stood the wild aquarius
infront of young and beautiful Lilofay
"Tell me will you come and return with me
into the deep, deep sea
your children are crying so much for you
for young and beautiful Lilofay".
"And before I let my children weep
in the deep, deep sea
I shall say farewell to grass and leave
woe is me poor and young and beautiful Lilofay ..."
words translated by A.M. in such a way that it is still possible to sing the English Version to the original melody, which did not vanish out of my head the whole long time when I was
