Elsewhere I called him "Wizard and Grandmaster of Watercolour",.. Manuel Casasola.., here with Andrea, following incredulously the masters brushstrokes with her eyes. It was the beginning of our close cooperation and friendship. Didn�t know whether a young student of him, (well I wasn�t young anymore, but absolute beginner in painting and watercolour), has ever dared to paint the master himself. So I wasn�t surprised, when he told me, that the figures would please him, they were not painted very exactly, but that would be "my style". With no word did he mention, that he had recognized himself, but I thought, he did so just for fun....!
Next week when we met again, he seized me by my shoulders, saying: "my wife did recognize, that you have painted me, she is thrilled about this painting, what a fool am I, where did I have my eyes, .. Alfred!"
Don�t consider me malicious,...my first title of this painting was "Master and Muse"...

Alfred, This is the first time I have taken the time to look at this painting. I agree with your other admirers that this is another fine painting of yours. (I will have to admit that tonight is the first time I have taken time to read your full biography. I have always loved your artwork, ever since I found you on FAA.
