Thank you so much Jane! The painting is almost two years old. My first title was similar to "Lucky man dancing in Caroline Street". I liked especially the figure in the centre of the painting with his mauve beret, making dancing moves to the music of his walkman. The painting should be about tolerance and so on, so I submitted it to the artist contest, I have told you, last year, but without success. This figure is the centre of this painting, and everything else is positioned around him. I hope you can feel the atmosphere of Karolinenstraße of Nuremberg, one of the main business streets. In the background you can see the big church (cathedral?) of St. Lorenz.

Almo,I couldn't see a new work, so rather than wait, I looked through your pictures and could not believe I had missed this terrific painting ! I'm sure I have not seen this. The relaxed man bottom left watching the scene and the figure on the other side moving out of the picture is all such perfect positioning! It is interesting everywhere I look.Lovely colours, beautiful mauves, and I do like those trees so much! And I love the vibrant shadows. I think this is one of my top favourites!! v/f
