not even if they are painted by no less an artist than Michelangelo ..
I did not want to paint them as fat toddlers, blowing the trumpet, .. I wanted to paint them as I have not seen them painted anywhere ..gorgeous, mighty like a phenomenon of nature, .. I imagine them as a mighty host of messengers between heaven and earth .. but as on earth, there are not only the good ones, painted bright and golden, but also the dark ones, painted purple .. as on earth, as it is in heaven ...
